It isn’t enough to learn about the good, bad, and the ugly sides of High Density Lipoprotein (HDL) and Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL). Quoting my doc, in a posting here last month, I referred to the latter as the Lousy Cholesterol.
Well, today, Jane E Brody suggests that we take a look again at the new benchmarks for HDL and LDL and provides some do’s and don’ts to keep the cholesterol levels in check. “Know your numbers and improve your odds” in The New York Times makes for some interesting reading, and encourages us towards controlled eating!
