Catch the ad bug; beware that hostile brush with hospitality! Indeed, "A Dance with the Corporate Ton: Reflections of a Worker Ant" is, as I've trumpeted, 'Delightfully Quirky!' Autobiographical. This is Lata Subramanian's first book, but the author's writing efforts are commendable. Lata has pulled those pages from her career which were most memorable to … Continue reading Delightfully Quirky!

Why nobody reads my blog posts
Every now and again I lament, "Nobody reads my blog posts." Then I ponder, reflect and remind myself of the following: Nobody reads my posts because my writing reflects how I feel in that instance. Well, who cares! I must write what others may be interested in. What crosses my mind first, makes for my … Continue reading Why nobody reads my blog posts
People, we’re always afraid!
Is that a bold statement, or is this something you always knew to be true? Indeed, we are always afraid. We're afraid of holding a hand, of helping those in need - lest they take undue advantage of us going forward. We're afraid of loving someone - for fear of being let down. We're afraid … Continue reading People, we’re always afraid!
The sad saga about ‘followers’ continues…
Sometimes I just get stuck on some silly thought. In research, my guess is, that may be considered a desirable trait. But I'm not a scientist nor am I a research student, but that shouldn't stop me from dwelling on some thought, right? Well, a couple of hours ago I blogged about my views on … Continue reading The sad saga about ‘followers’ continues…
Had trouble finding followers?
That's the trouble... why do we even think of this as trouble. Are we Pied Pipers driving the art of writing to its death? Those who truly think independently, don't quite care about a fan following. The real independent thinkers and philosophers wrote their ideas or expressed them. Because they made sense we read about … Continue reading Had trouble finding followers?
Who skips the sex scenes… while e-Reading?
What someone enjoys as bedtime reading, or what twisted tale a storyteller wishes to spin, matters little to me. But out there, like Peeping Tom, loads of companies are snooping on you to note whether you're a diehard romantic, or whether racy violence is your page-turner. Do you speed-read, or is pausing after every paragraph … Continue reading Who skips the sex scenes… while e-Reading?
Do you mosey?
WordPress, twitter, facebook, pinterest, linkedin, tumblr, flickr, mosey... yes, mosey, and the list goes on. Nosy, then stay on. Knowledgeable, or if you're simply not interested in what I'm about to express... then please feel free to move on. Have you noticed how these wordpress blog posts (not on tblog, blogspot, or is it blogger... … Continue reading Do you mosey?
Hah! Who fooled me?
Yeah, I got fooled... not on All Fool's day, not today, nor yesterday. Everyday, for the past eight months, and especially over the last few days, I've looked at some archives of my photos! I've searched, and searched, and searched deeper for pictures I would like the world to see... even if they aren't exactly … Continue reading Hah! Who fooled me?
Overuse (or misuse) of the word ‘oversight’…
For the longest time I used the word 'oversight' only while referring to inadvertent errors, or omissions resulting from 'not looking at' something. It irks me intensely when 'oversight' is used to express something diametrically opposite to this i.e. to refer to 'supervision' or 'watchful care' (the dictionary meanings). e.g. Taking the ongoing Financial Meltdown … Continue reading Overuse (or misuse) of the word ‘oversight’…
